August 2001 — “Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.” — 2 Corinthians 7:2

Here are some samples of the many comments we are receiving about the PC articles.

“Evening Michael! :<) I knew that you were (what seemed to me) sad, when you were doing your third talk, though I didn't know your circumstances until now. FWIW I feel you have handled yourself as a disciple of Christ should, and you have earned my respect.” — From the Discussion Forum.

“This is very well written. It will not be received well by Stan as it is Truth. He will attack you and all you stand for with all his resources for he must shut you up! He must either repent or attack now that he is exposed. I truly hope Stan is a man of God, either way Michael you have done what you have been called to do.” — From Email.

“It seems to me that Stan should give you equal time on his broadcasts with the same stipulations he requested from you. I think he would be happy to do that if he has nothing to hide, or is not afraid of the Truth.” — From Email.

“I am so sorry to hear about your encounter with the Prophecy Club, but I'm not surprised. I have been expecting something to change for several months as the Lord had me in prayer for them for sometime. I also post on another site provided by a dear Brother who has experienced the same thing through the PC club. I had been praying for a confirmation on my association with them as well and believe the Lord has more then provided this confirmation as you are number three. I am really sad but know that I must repent as I thought they were of the Lord because of such people as yourself…Thank you for being honest and allowing us to see the secret dealings that are evidently not of the Lord. The Lord has promised that all things that are hidden will be exposed by the Light. And also a thief will be required to pay double for all he had stolen from the Lord. Many are being deceived by the organized church and all there ‘Purpose Driven Programs’ are a scam leading to Eygpt. Thank you for sharing this and as a Watchman I will be letting others know about this situation by sharing your site.” — Minnesota

“I was on my way to the Albany PC crusade. I haven't had any peace in my spirit since I registered for the crusade and couldn't figure out why. Then I received your email. After reading it, I cancelled my hotel reservations for the Albany Crusade (now moved to a less expensive hotel in Troy, NY.) The peace has returned. Thank you ∓ God Bless you!” — Massachusetts.

“Michael, You are right on the mark about what the devil is doing with ‘the club’. It's too bad the earth doesn't open up again. I'm just glad the Holy Spirit opened my eyes before I got swallowed up in that clap trap. Thank you Jesus.” — No State Given

“MB, I believe you have been badly wronged by Stan/PC. I believe you do what you do because you love the Lord and you KNOW the message needs to be shared…if there is any way I can help you, let me know” — OREGON.

“I cannot thank you enough for your information regarding the prophecy club. God brought your message to me through them (all things work toward the will of God?), but I am horrified by some of their messages. I purchased "The Bunker Special" from these people and by watching these tapes I experienced a profound sense that God was working His message through your work. However, when I began to listen to the prophecy club's ‘advanced prophecy training’ tapes, I experienced a genuine feeling of sickness in the pit of my stomach . Although I found myself agreeing with some of what they were saying, I knew also that some of their statements were blasphemous to God. I am not proficient in scripture but know that God has a purpose for us in these times. I also know that the prophecy club is bearing false witness against the Word of the Lord. I could not reconcile what I felt about you with what I felt about them. Now that I know how you have been treated, you have confirmed that God has been speaking to me in a soft quiet voice and that what I experienced as a feeling of sickness was the Holy Spirit gently nudging me toward the truth. Mr. Bunker, I will pray for you and your work for the Lord.’ — OHIO

“Dear Michael, I just read your article on the PC. I can agree with it all except the left handed golfer bit.” — NORTH CAROLINA

“I am so sorry to read all that you said, but I must say, somehow, I am not surprised. Two reasons: 1) Whenever Stan's voice starts the broadcasts, I have to turn down the volume until his has finished speaking. I have never understood why, until now, that I always sensed something was not right with him. He has always (and I did meet him in person once) struck me as a charlatan. 2) Everytime I would think about ordering the videos of your talks, the Holy Spirit would never give me the freedom to do it. I thought that was strange, until now.” — No state given

“Thank you for sharing your story of what went on with the Prophecy Club. I know four people who spoke for the Prophecy Club and from everything I hear, you actually came out better than the other three: you just lost money.” — TEXAS

“I helped out with the PC for a few years. Michael Coffman was the first speaker I saw and on that day I dedicated my life to Jesus. I felt(oops wrong word)…I believed(and still do)that God WAS using the PC. I did learn a lot about the world and the battles we as Christians face everyday. However, towards the end I starting having doubts. Especially when they started selling hats and t-shirts. I also felt like I was running around with itchy ears. It breaks my heart…many good Christians put a lot into that ministry. I told everyone I know that the PC is not like all the rest. I pushed the videos, the books, the tapes, the meetings……I have no regrets and could careless about the world, but a lot of good people will have some egg in their face and maybe a little less credibility. For me, this is a wake up call. I need trust in Jesus(more), read the Bible(more)and pray(a lot more).” — No state given

From a former Spirit of Prophecy Church victim: “After reading your post I feel air returning to parts of my lungs that I had forgot existed… its 1;30 in the morning and I can harldy see thru my tears as I finish this. I'm beginning to shake and sob. Gotta go. Thank you.” — NEBRASKA

“Im very sad and upset with the way the Prophecy Club has treated both Bunker and it's loyal followers. My father and I were getting much benefit out of the meetings, although its right to question everyone who stood in front of us including Stan and Kevin, and especially Rood. Im pleased to say that the Lord has been leading me out of the churchy realm into deeper biblical study. And everything is correct when you say we have access to the throne of God via JEsus Christ. Im praying for PC and Bunker and PC's followers that God may open thier eyes to the subtle deception.” — No state given

“Peace be unto you Michael, and your family, in Jesus' Name! Your recent article is now being read on Christian Media Network (2320 hours Eastern/9.330 MHz) by our brother in Christ, Ricky Walters of Madison,IN. The truth is going out sir! Glory, honor, praise, and thanksgiving be unto the Lamb of God. Amen.” — WEST VIRGINIA

“Michael, I saw some of the responses to your PC Story and must say that I am floored by it; albeit, not surprised. You see, I have seen slick commercialized "charlatans" at work in used car lots and especially in the bricks and mortar church many times over since I was born again in 1976. It's an epidemic rampant in America now… They are continually trading the truth for a lie. They shamelessly sell out and defraud the brethren, and for what? The Almighty Dollar, plain and simple. It sickens me at my core. I was hoping the Fallacy, er, uh, the Prophecy Club would turn out to be different; above the normal self-serving 501c3 religious organization. I have had it up to here [imagine me motioning way above my head] with religion and religious profiteers. I do thank the Lord, that I saw your videos and came to know of your ministry as a result of Stan's early going-ons. Interestingly, many of the other speakers I watched on PC videos were clearly not hearing from the same God that I read about in my Bible. May this be a lesson to us all. It is TRULY IMPOSSIBLE to serve God and mammon (money) for you will always love the one and end up hating the other.” — GEORGIA

“Michael, When I wrote to you about a month ago I knew something was up between you and the prophecy club. I knew that a man of your evident character would soon fall out of favor with Stan because what he was and is doing was so opposed to the message that you give and the message that so many hungry Christians are starving for. He seems to care more about technology and less about orthodox theology. Long ago I knew that there was more to the relationship with God than the religiosity and ritualism offered in the mainline and charismatic churches.” — HAWAII

“Hi Mr. Bunker, I am very surprised and hurt by the way the prophecy club has treated you and the statements they made, myself being a supporter of theirs. It will be only by an act of God that I will support them again. Their support will now be your support. They do indeed need much prayer. They also need to do what they committed to, pay the little that they promised and credit you for that invoice. And, I would expect an explanation of their terrible actions and comments to you and others. I would suggest that no statement/comments by the P.C. be an admittance of guilt. Jesus Is Lord, and never changes” — PENNSYLVANIA

“Thank you for mustering the courage to tell your brothers and sisters in Christ the truth behind your dealings with the Apostasy Club (and thank you for holding back what you really wanted to say.) I praise God that I was first introduced to you and your ministry through the Apostasy Club. Back then (in 1999), the name of The Prophecy Club was probably more fitting, if not at times questionable. Without Stan, I probably never would have heard of you and your ministry. Praise God for that!!! When I first started listening to you on the Apostasy Club something clicked. I had already come out of a liberal whorehouse mainline church because the Holy Spirit had already clued me in to the fact that the god that they were worshipping was not God the Father, the Son, nor the Holy Spirit. Your teachings on the Renegades radio show, your videos, and your website have truly enriched my understanding of Scripture and God's purpose for me in His scheme of things. Your series on ‘Election in the Gospel of John’ has given me new insights and understandings into an area of theology that has not previously been covered in my mainline Protestant past. Your tapes are now with my parents, who are still with a mainline church. I pray that God will open their eyes to the Truth.” — MISSOURI

“I, too, was introduced to Michael Bunker's ministry via the Prophecy Club. I was completely in awe of the message and to this day, the information I learned about the Iridium Satellites has shaped my political focus. I received the Prophecy Club newsletters, and saw changes take over the PC ministry in each one! I couldnt' believe that the PC ministry was so desperate for money, that they would resort to using brainwashing techniques . Each newsletter revealed new Marketing techniques, from not allowing any questions at meeting, selling salvation (via different size donations) and teaching the GIFT of prophecy! I felt very bad for anyone who went to any of thsoe meetings! Each one was destined to get sucked into a machine meant to use them to seduce others. All for money. I never understood why the PC ministry was so upset that Y2K didn't ‘happen.’ Stan seemed to be very disturbed that disaster didn't happen! Did he ever stop to think how his ministry would have been affected IF Y2K had happened! Y2K was a warning, and many people now have basic survival neccessities in their homes. That is a blessing that we may one day sadly need to put into use. I never doubted your ministry, Michael Bunker. I think that the PC club did a great service by spreading your message.” — From the Discussion Forum
