Bunker:
I am willing to listen to Stan Johnson's side of the story, provided he
ever supplies it. I am also willing to report to you his side of the
story via my website
(something He is clearly not willing to do).
Stan:
Michael, thank you so much for posting this letter, my side of the story
on your website as you said you would, and sending it to all the people
who received your first
accusation letter about me. Please post it in its unedited entirety.
It contains 14,766 words.

Response to Bunker Accusations
To all those who received Michael Bunker's letter of accusations. I am
sorry, this kind of information takes up your time. It is too bad that
more of the fruits of the
Spirit could not have been used in this situation. Michael, for not
voicing his opinion to me, and me, for not reading his mind and knowing
he was upset before he made his
concerns public. I don't think Christians should air dirty laundry in
public. I can imagine how Satan laughs seeing God's people, especially
His full-time servants,
fussing like this in public. I did not start this attack, nor did I
bring you into it. I will carefully and methodically explain each of
Michael's accusations. The
reason I hate reporting about these accusations is saying something bad
about Michael, or anyone else, for that matter.
All my life I have been told not to criticize others. As a young man my
Mother told me, "Do not make fun of girls who are not pretty. Be just
as nice to the ugly ones as
you do the pretty ones." I was taught, "When you throw mud, whether you
hit the mark or miss the mark, your hands still get dirty." Abraham
Lincoln said, "Any fool can
criticize, condemn and complain, and most fools do." Jesus taught us
that we should to love our enemies, so how much the more should we love
our brother. John 13:35 By
this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to
another. When a person strikes us on the cheek we are to turn the
other cheek also. So I really
hate to respond to Michael's accusations. It is just dirty work. There
is no clean way to do it. I do want to make it clear, I don't enjoy
having to do this.

Sometimes my soft heart has got me in trouble. Looking back, there have
been times I should have corrected a speaker more quickly, but
reprimands don't come easily for
me. I do not like confrontations, especially with people who are better
with words than I, and Michael is very good with words. I do have some
regrets. I regret putting
a few speakers on tour and unfortunately Michael now falls in that
category.

I must now officially announce to you the following: I no longer endorse
Michael Bunker or his information. As I will outline, Bunker's letter
about Stan Johnson and The
Prophecy Clubr is filled with bias, inaccuracy, and missing information.
I must ask myself, if Michael has distorted, exaggerated and stretched
the facts concerning my
relationship with him-facts I can prove concerning his relationship with
us, his videos and book-did he make his videos with the same inaccuracy?
I have no other choice
but to answer, "Yes." So effective immediately, The Prophecy Clubr will
place Michael Bunker on the short list with other speakers. The list of
"No longer recommended".
Effective immediately, The Prophecy Clubr no longer offers Michael
Bunker's book or videos, or anything with Michael Bunker's name on it.
Now let me address some of his
accusations. Again, I apologize this has to come to you-especially
those who were introduced to Michael Bunker by The Prophecy Clubr. It
was Michael who brought you into
this.

To the people who The Prophecy Clubr introduced to Michael Bunker:

Let me explain how our ministry works. Obviously, there are some things
that work the same as other ministries, and some things that are
different. The Prophecy Clubr was
raised up by God to do something the rest of the Church would not, or
could not do. It was called to warn America that judgment was coming if
they did not repent.
Obviously, the Church prayed and repented enough to at least delay the
judgment, because it should have already been here by now.

In the beginning days of The Prophecy Clubr, when the radio station
called and asked me to do a radio program on Bible prophecy, the monthly
cost of airtime was $200. I
could pay that out of my pocket. I bought a tape player and dedicated
four to six hours a week to making the broadcast. I was willing to make
the broadcast in my spare
time, but God laid on my heart that His people would and should pay the
airtime. The objective quickly became to get the word out while getting
enough response from the
people to pay for the airtime. I would make the broadcast, His people
would pay the airtime. When the second station came to us, the cost was
$1,500 a month, which I
could not afford. The only way this was going to work was to get enough
response from the people to pay the airtime. I asked for donations but
I discovered what every
other minister on radio and television has discovered-not enough people
give to God to pay the airtime. Watch television or listen to radio and
you will see for yourself.
Every ministry of any size offers books, tapes and videos to cover the
cost of airtime. This is not criminal, or against the will of God.
What God laid on my heart was
that God wants His people to have the information in the books and
videos. I don't think using all my effort to get information into the
hands of God's people, information
He wanted them to have, was wrong. I have 22 years of sales experience
so I used what I had. Many ministers have had a call from God, yet
lacked the way to get the
program to pay for itself and their radio, television, or whatever
ministry God wanted to succeed - failed. People not in full-time
ministry misunderstand and believe if
it is ordained of God, there is no way it can fail. This is simply not
true. Many good ministries started by God have failed for lack of skill
or natural ability, lacking
on the part of the minister. When you are trying to do what God has
called you to do it takes every thing you can put into it to make it
work. This includes all the
spiritual help like stepping out in faith, prayer and fasting. It takes
the use of all your natural God-given talents and abilities. It also
takes about every waking
moment for the first three to five years just to make it.

Every ministry has a trade off. A trade off Michael doesn't understand
or like. When a radio program interviews a guest, they have to pay for
that airtime. A few get
some airtime free, but for the most part they pay, and pay heavily. The
better the station, the higher the cost. The Prophecy Clubr pays for
all its airtime. When Bunker
went on tour it was just prior to Y2K, November of 1999. Michael, as
well as the rest of the watchmen ministries, were pushing hard trying to
warn as many as possible. We
pulled out all the stops, stretched everything, put everything on the
line. At least The Prophecy Clubr was. I was spending every extra dime
to buy more airtime. My
objective was to warn God's people. I was not interested in putting
speakers or employees in a nicer house. The objective was not to see
how much money I could give to
the speakers. I was not interested in building anything except getting
God's people warned. For all I knew we only had a few months until
Russia attacked and that was
foremost in my objectives. I was always buying another radio station to
warn more people. I looked at it like this. All the money went into a
big pot. I took out what
was necessary for expenses, employees and speakers, and the rest went
for warning. I paid a fair honorarium and used the rest for warning.
If Michael did not like the
honorarium, he should have stayed at home. Looking back, I have
wondered if I pushed too hard. Nevertheless, it worked to some degree
because judgment is not here. The
objective was to make as much money from every effort, maximum
efficiency, to put toward radio airtime. What is wrong with that? Did
I treat Michael fairly? I think you
will see that I did.

Before I came up with a standard amount and a standard plan for
speakers, there were times when the speaker walked out with a pocket
full of money and I a pocket full of
bills. After several financial disasters, I called another end-time
ministry and asked them what they paid speakers. I wanted to be fair to
the speaker, but no one is
getting rich in this watchman ministry. I was told they pay a speaker
$200 per talk for a talk that lasted up to three hours. That is how we
arrived at the $200 figure.
I reasoned, The Prophecy Clubr will pay expenses, all airfare, hotels
and meals. So the speaker will walk away with what most thought was a
king's ransom. In a two week
speaking tour of fourteen cities they would make $2,800.00. Not bad for
most people, right? How many people reading this letter would be
willing to speak for three hours
a day to make $200 clear profit? Pretty good, right? We had several
speakers who did not want any honorarium. They were happy just to get
the opportunity tell what they
knew-which I think is the right attitude. When I put myself on tour in
January and February of 2000, my pay did not increase. I received
nothing for my tour and was
pleased to do so. I counted myself blessed to be chosen by God to speak
to His people. We still sent honorarium to the speakers who did not
want any payment. But that is
the right attitude. We should be willing to serve God's people
regardless of price. In eight years we had almost 100 speakers and most
thought The Prophecy Clubr was a
blessing. Most of our speakers said they had called other ministries
and most would not hear their message, too controversial they were told.
Churches would not, most
radio and television stations would not have them. The Prophecy Clubr
was one of the few that would take a chance on a nobody like Bunker.
This is not a criticism on
Bunker, but a direct quote from him. In his letter he called himself a
nobody. Back in November of 1999 when The Prophecy Clubr first put
Bunker on tour he was relatively
unknown. A large part of his notoriety has come primarily from the
efforts of The Prophecy Clubr and this is the appreciation he shows us.

The radio stations began to stack up and so did the airtime. At one
time our airtime for radio was $300,000 a month. Where do we get the
money to pay that kind of
airtime? The same way Joyce Meyer and any other ministries
do-donations, book and video offers. One time I called one of the
largest radio ministries in America about a
speaker I thought they would be interested in. The first question they
asked was, "Do they have a book?" I said, "No." "They said, "Well have
him call us when they get
their book published." I mentioned another speaker who had a book.
"They asked how much does it retail for and what will they allow our
ministry to buy it for." They
asked this before they even asked what he spoke on. This told me they
were more interested in their spread between cost and retail than the
speaker or information. I
never forgot that. I wanted to treat our speakers better. I tried to
get the information to the people even if they did not have a book.
That is where the video concept
came in. I decided to make a video of their talk, it is faster and
easier and we can offer the video to cover the airtime. Great idea, and
it worked.

Then one day a speaker came along that had a book "almost ready" but
could not get any publisher in the country to take it. We found a
printer and did the editing on it
and we were able to help that speaker's ministry by getting a book
printed that would not have been printed otherwise. More than one
speaker thanked us and said without
our help enabling them to have a video or print a book to offer through
their ministry, they might not make it. Michael was one such speaker.
I will quote a note we have
in our file from Michael that indicates he was WANTING our help. He
WANTED and NEEDED our help. It was hand written and signed by Michael.

Joyce,
Here it is! I hope you get some time to read it. I appreciate your
patience and kindness in this endeavour.

The disk is only slightly different from the hard copy. The disk
includes the forward, so the page numbering is different. The disk has
133 pages, the hard copy has 130.

The one graphic page is marked it goes into page 98 on the disk, or page
95 of the hard copy. The graphic is saved as a separate file on the

Thanks again for all your hard work. I praise Jesus for you and have
you in my prayers!

Michael Bunker

Now does that sound like we were ripping off Michael Bunker? We did not
hold him down and threaten to break a finger if he did not let us print
his book We did not force
him. He was thankful to have our help. We have not checked, but
probably no other publisher would have taken his book about a persecuted
Church. No one else I know of
would have helped him make a professional video of his talk, and
probably very few would have put him on a nationwide radio program.
Michael even asked me on three more
occasions to print a second book. I politely stalled because I did not
feel any nudge or urgency in my spirit to help Bunker with another book,
which would be ripping up
Pastors and the Church in general. Our heart was to help Bunker and
this is the appreciation we get for it.

In the early days we invited each speaker with no thought of what to pay
them. After a few speakers stabbed us in the back, we came up with an
agreement for each speaker.
Every shenanigan a speaker pulled added another line in the agreement,
plugging that hole in the dike. This is the agreement that Michael
signed word for word. I paid
Michael what we owed him and I can prove it.

Dear Mr. Bunker,

The Prophecy Clubr prides itself on credible, accurate information.
Please keep to the agreed topic, even when answering questions. We ask
all speakers comments be
provable. If you can't prove it, you can't say it, unless it is from
the Lord or of such a nature that people would not expect proof.

The Prophecy Clubr will pay you $200 per talk for your tour. In
addition, The Prophecy Clubr will pay for your airfare, hotel, and meals
when we are with you. You will be
responsible for your own meals when you are by yourself. You will also
be responsible for any guest accompanying you. The Prophecy Clubr will
provide an itinerary. Please
get approval from the Topeka office before deviating from your
itinerary. Any schedule changes resulting in additional expenses,
including but not limited to, airfare and
hotel will be your responsibility. We recommend you rest when we
schedule you for rest. Please contact The Prophecy Clubr to make any
arrangements for radio interviews or
speeches other than those scheduled by The Prophecy Clubr.

You understand The Prophecy Clubr goes to great expense for airfare,
hotels, and to advertise and promote your tour. If a speaker did not
complete a scheduled tour it would
create great trouble and expense to schedule a replacement speaker.
Therefore, if you are unable to speak on part or all of your speeches
you agree to reimburse The
Prophecy Clubr for your airfare and buy the airline tickets for the
replacement speaker or pay The Prophecy Clubr a minimum cancellation fee
of $3,000, which ever is less.
Except, in the opinion of The Prophecy Clubr the reason is justified.

The offering will be taken in the name of your ministry in hopes of
covering what we pay you. All offering checks made payable to you or
your ministry will be given to you
at the end of the tour and deducted from the amount due you.

The Prophecy Clubr will pay the expense for taping your talk. You will
allow The Prophecy Clubr to tape your talk and to market it as it sees
fit. Including broadcast on
both radio and television. The Prophecy Clubr will retain copyright and
duplication rights to the video. The Prophecy Clubr will duplicate the
video for you at $6 per
tape not including shipping. You will not sell the tape for less than
The Prophecy Clubr sells it. The Prophecy Clubr will do all selling of
your materials while on
tour. When The Prophecy Clubr schedules you for a radio or television
interview you will ask listeners to call The Prophecy Clubr for
materials. If you have any materials
you would like to give away, please send us copies at least two weeks
before your first speaking engagement for our approval. You will not
distribute any materials except
business cards, without prior approval. We ask you to use the King
James Version Bible in all references to scripture in your presentation.
You assume all legal
responsibility in reference to content and copyright permission in
public and the video presentations.

If this is agreeable to you, please OK it and return by fax today if
possible or call to discuss it. This agreement is effective today and
renewed upon booking of any
future tours with The Prophecy Clubr.

Stan Johnson Mike Bunker
Soc. Sec. #_____-_____-_____

Now for the book deal he is screaming about. Well, I trusted these
speakers when I helped print their book. I made a mistake. I didn't
get an agreement, in writing,
concerning his book but you can be assured the next one we help will, if
there is another one. It is a shame all this has to happen. I
apologize to you for being involved
in this.

Michael called me several times and dropped several hints that he would
like me to help him print his book. Whether he checked with other
printers to find out prices or
not, I know two things. We could help him print a nice book, and may be
one of the only ministries that would take it. Gary K--, another one of
our guest speakers, told
me he made $0.35 cents per book royalty on his book, but he also had to
buy his own books from his publisher and only got a 40% discount. His
book sold for $9.95 which
meant he bought his own book for $6 and sold it for $10. I wanted to
help our speakers do better than that. I knew that was the standard
deal among publishers. Another
speaker paid $2,500 just for the graphic artist to design the cover for
his book, which was not as good as what we currently do. We found an
artist to design all covers
for our books and videos, and because we sent so much business their way
they charged us much less per book. We also found a printer that could
print a book for less.
Most printers would charge $3.00 to $3.50 just for printing, we found
one who would do it for less. We could edit and print the book for less
and help the rejected
author. This was the deal that I worked with ALL the authors, including
Henry Gruver, Wally Wood and all the rest. The deal was we would
arrange and pay in advance for
the design of the cover, the printing, and do the editing ($50 an hour
is typical for editing) and then warehouse it for the speaker until they
needed them. This meant the
speaker did not have to come out of pocket any money. Most authors paid
from $5,000 to $7,000 dollars to print their book. Yes, we made some
money for our trouble. We
didn't and still don't see anything wrong with that. This is what you
call good business. We felt like we were offering them a win - win
deal. The author handed us the
book. We paid for all costs including editing, cover design, output to
film, printing and shipping to The Prophecy Clubr. There is nothing
wrong with arranging lower
prices and helping someone get their book printed and getting fairly
compensated for it. All Bunker did was write the book and then ordered
them as he needed them. But
now we will have a written agreement with all future authors, thanks to
Michael. The speaker could then buy his book from us as they needed
them for our actual cost
(editing, printing, and artist). This means they could print a book
that otherwise would probably not get printed for three reasons: One -
Most publishers would reject
such a book on doctrine. Two - Most authors do not have the money to
print the book. Three - Most publishers have a two year backlog on
books. Meaning even if they
accept the book it would be two years before they could print it. If
you don't believe me call Henry Gruver or Wally Wood. They will tell
you we have always treated them
fairly. As a matter of fact, Henry called yesterday and has asked me to
reprint Prayer Walking and his next two books! Does he do this because
we rip him off? No. As a
matter of fact, we have two people right now who have sent us
manuscripts wanting us to help them get their manuscript printed. We
probably won't print them for various
reasons. My point is, we blessed Michael.

Did we do Michael Bunker a service? I think so. Did we make money on
Michael, yes. What did we spend the money on? We spent it on
furthering the ministry; paying bills,
employees, things like that. We have a $4,000 building payment and
$35,000 a month in radio airtime, plus the usual overhead for utilities,
etc. But, even if we spent it
on a new sports car there would be nothing wrong with that. The
Prophecy Clubr is a sole proprietorship. A BUSINESS! Most businesses
are in business to make money, that
is the American way. Our objective is not to make money for our own
personal toy collection. Our objective is to minister to and warn God's
people. Making money is just
something a ministry has to do to continue. Was it a good deal for
Michael and for The Prophecy Clubr? Yes. Then you ask, why is he
complaining? Well, that goes a
little deeper.

Before I address each of Michael Bunker's accusations, let me talk about
fruit. Jesus said you will know them by their fruit. As you read
Michael's letter, what is the
fruit? Did you pick it up? What is the spirit of his letter? What is
the spirit in his heart? Did you pick up Love? Joy? Peace?
Longsuffering? How about
Gentleness? Kindness? What was the fruit of his letter?

Bunker said: I have vices. Some of them I enjoy immensely. As most anyone who knows
anything about me knows, I smoke cigars. I (along with the likes of
Spurgeon, Lewis and many others)
like cigars. I smoke cigars, because I like them. But. I don't inhale. I
like a glass of wine (the real kind) and, on occasion, provided it
doesn't throw a stumbling block
in the way of a brother, I enjoy a beer or two. I even drink beers with
Baptists.

I am intemperate. I do not mince words. I have almost no patience. I am
at war with religion and the institutional church system. I advocate
insurrection and violence
against tyrants. I have alienated many of the people who might otherwise
have supported me because
I am unwilling to compromise. I "don't play well with others". I am
prideful, and I don't spend enough time with my family. I get frustrated
at women drivers, and men who
drive like women. I don't think left-handers should be allowed to play
golf. I also generalize a lot.

Now, we got that out of the way.

Stan:
I don't smoke cigars, cigarettes or tobacco of any kind. I don't drink,
cuss, swear or tell dirty jokes. I am a licensed and ordained minister
of the LORD. I don't claim
to be a renegade. I claim to be a full-time servant of the Lord. I
preach each Sunday morning at the Spirit of Prophecy Church when I am
not on the road doing Crusades.
I don't get frustrated with women drivers or left-handed golfers. I
have been put through God's pride wringer over the last eighteen months.
God has wrung out most of the
pride, self-centeredness, ego and salesmanship. He has put in more of
the minister and much more of the fruits of the Spirit. I don't say
this in pride, I say this
because it had to happen for me to do minister in the Power of Jesus
Crusades. Bunker, I do think there are some things you need to turn
over to Jesus because, "you don't
have them out of the way," until they are removed from your flesh and
broken in the spirit. You have to first get the victory in the spirit
before you get the victory in
the flesh. By your admission of guilt, says you don't have victory over
them yet.

Bunker:
Many people have been emailing and calling me about the Prophecy Club.
In the minds of most of the people, I am somehow affiliated with them.
Like I said, I believe that
Stan Johnson and the Prophecy Club have fostered this misconception. On
three occasions, Stan tried to get me to publicly support the "Jesus
Crusades". I will not, and I do
not. I agreed to go on three Prophecy Club tours, because I believed the
message of warning was important, and because I believe that God desired
that the message of a
tyrannical, one-world surveillance state should be widely broadcast.
Other than the three TECHNOLOGY videos that I did, which were produced
by the Prophecy Club, I have no
affiliation with them whatsoever.

Stan:
If people email Bunker or any other speaker to voice a complaint, they
do not understand how The Prophecy Clubr is set up. They should direct
their complaints to The
Prophecy Clubr. Bunker was one of 100 guest speakers. We paid him to
speak. That makes us the employer and him the employee. He has no
authority over us and the only
time we have authority over him is when he is on a speaking tour.
Please direct complaints to The Prophecy Clubr.

One of our guest speakers pointed out that I was lifting up many other
speakers and their ministries and they said guest speakers should in
turn support The Prophecy
Clubr. It agreed with my spirit. Many times people attended a meeting
and connect with the speaker and want to support only them. It was
pointed out to me that listeners
need to realize who organized the meeting and made it all happen. They
forget about The Prophecy Clubr, our efforts, and the fact that The
Prophecy Clubr bares all
expenses. I began making a suggestion to speakers. I would say, "If
the Lord prompts you to say a kind word of support for The Prophecy
Clubr, feel free to do so. I
thought I should not have to even suggest it. This is a common practice
on television. They have "Telethons" or "Praise-a-thons" to raise
money. They invite guest
ministers who have an anointing to move the hearts of listeners to give
in support of their ministry. Guest speakers should appreciate a
ministry taking a chance on them,
or giving them the opportunity to speak. Like the ten lepers, only one
turned back to say thanks to Jesus for healing them. Very few guest
speakers ever paused to say
thanks. I suggested this to Bunker. He never made a comment of
support. Now I get attacked as if I was putting him up to do a
murder-for-hire. I never wanted Bunker to
agree with, or say something in agreement with the Power of Jesus
Crusades, I was referring to The Prophecy Clubr and Bunker knew this.
It was a The Prophecy Clubr radio
program he was being interviewed on. He has twisted the situation, but
I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Being 48, I may have
inadvertently made that mistake.
Please forgive me for ever portraying the idea that Bunker would agree
with a Crusade ministry getting people filled with the Spirit, set free,
trained and equipped to
serve the Lord. I never meant to dirty his fine name. Please forgive
me. Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither
will your Father forgive your
trespasses.

Bunker:
I was one of the first people to warn Stan Johnson personally of
problems. I talked to Stan about Bill Deagle during my first tour. It
was clear that Bill was a heretic and
liar - and I told Stan that. It took months for Stan to back off of Bill
Deagle. He still sold Deagle's videos and books long after he knew that
Bill was a fraud. Stan even
read a Bill Deagle "vision" at the end of my first video AFTER I told
him that Bill Deagle was a lunatic. I also warned Stan about the poison
of several other speakers,
after people came up to me at the PC meetings crying because they had
allowed one of Stan's speakers to "mark" them with an upside down cross
on their forehead. When I
found out Stan was going to send the gentile "rabbi" Michael Rood on
tour - I warned him again. Rood proceeded to use the PC platform to
build his own kingdom, while
simultaneously convincing the world that he is an authentic "messianic
Jewish rabbi". More false prophecies and wrong calendars were to follow.

Stan:
It was not Bunker's place to warn me about anyone. Bunker was one of
100 guest speakers we attempted to help get his message out. I don't
let one speaker tell me who the
other speakers are to be or not to be. I try to let God run this
ministry, not guest speakers. Though I regret putting a few speakers on
tour, God did not call Bunker to
decide on speakers. In reference to Bill Deagle. Bill is a doctor who
I imagine is making some good money. I am not a lawyer, but I believe
Bunker has put himself in a
position to be sued by Dr. Bill Deagle for liable. If Bunker can not
prove in a court of law that Bill is a heretic, liar, fraud and a
lunatic, Bill can now sue Bunker.
Heretic, liar, fraud and lunatic are some serious accusations and may be
difficult for Bunker to prove. Even if Bunker won the lawsuit, it would
still cost him over $2,000
for lawyer fees and court costs, just for the privilege of using those
terms, which I doubt Bunker can afford. One more reason not to
criticize, condemn or complain. Once
again, I apologize for Bunker bringing all you fine folks into this
mess. This should never have been brought to you.

As far as the "mark" - well, at first it looked good. To me receiving
it was standing against evil. When complaints came in after airing a
radio program on it, I studied
it more carefully and saw it was wrong. "When you are wrong, admit it
quickly and emphatically." So I got on the radio around October 15,
1999 and said it was wrong and
asked the people to forgive me, and announced there would be no more
"sealing" people at The Prophecy Clubr meetings. Either Bunker never
heard the request for
forgiveness, or he never forgave me, or he is simply digging up all the
mud he can possibly find and throwing it at me. Either way, what the
Son sets free is free indeed.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free
indeed. So I am free from that error Bunker, why do you mention it?

Bunker:
Then, rather than return to their original base, or shut it down for
lack of support - The P.C. changed gears. The money had dried up, and
the golden goose was laying
wooden eggs. Stan Johnson's personal prophets (I call them the pocket
prophets) were calling for "revivals" and "crusades". It began to look
like a scaled-down TBN
dog-and-pony show. The money machine was being re-primed. Instead of
having 400 people show up at meetings (each paying $7), the Prophecy
Club was willing to entertain 20
people at several hundred dollars a person. For a large fee, you too
could learn to prophesy, heal the sick, etc. Stan Johnson's new mantra
is now "God is always changing".
In fact, he started his latest newsletter with that claim. The fact that
the Bible states unequivocally that God NEVER changes (I change not) has
apparently stopped the
funds from flowing in. Would the Prophecy Club have us believe that the
CORNERSTONE of the building is changing all the time?

Stan:
As far as this paragraph. Lets look at the fruit again. Do you see any
flesh in this? Where is the love? Peace? I don't see any peace? Now
for the accusations. God
does not change, and Bunker knows I know this. Why is he so angry? Do
you see the anger in his writings? What changed was our ministry. God
was and is bringing in the
Crusades-which is a large part of the problem. Ask Bunker what he
believes about the Holy Spirit and the gifts, manifestations and power
of the Holy Spirit. Ah, there is
the rub. I see something deeper in Bunker's writings. I see an anger
that is usually birthed out of jealousy and covetousness. What could
Bunker be jealous of?

Ask Bunker, do you believe in (Hebrews 13:8) Jesus Christ the same
yesterday, and to day, and for ever? If you do, then you also believe
that everything Jesus did is
available today, right? The fact is, you don't believe in several
things we do in the Crusades. Bunker is not this your prime complaint
with us? Don't you have a problem
in believing in the power areas of God? Isn't that the reason you sent
your friend to my room to ask for a personal prophecy? Weren't you
looking for more mud to throw?
You should know the Lord told us it was a set up as soon as he knocked
on the door. I chose my words very carefully with Bunker's friend
because I knew Bunker was
disagreeing with us concerning the Crusades. What Bunker overlooked in
his story was how Jordan received the personal prophecy that night. One
of the ways people respond
when the Lord is speaking to them is emotion. They get emotional. They
can't help it. As I was prophesying to him, I noticed him wipe a tear
away. Now if you ask him
don't be surprised if he doesn't remember the tear. They remember the
Word, not the response. As you have pointed out he remembered the
word-which is a strong indication
he also received it as a Word from the Lord. Jonathan told me he
accepted the Word as "right on." Was he telling the truth? I think so.
Ask Bunker if he believes the
devil temps people today? He will say yes. Ask Bunker if he believes
God speaks to people today? He will probably say no. Which is to say
that the devil can speak to
people, but God can not. Ask Bunker if he believes in the gifts of the
Holy Spirit? This may be the real irritation with The Prophecy Clubr.
Bunker liked The Prophecy
Clubr putting him in front of people to bask in the lime-lite, but he
doesn't like the Crusades. Many people over the years have come to me
and said The Prophecy Clubr has
done a good job of exposing the problem, but what is the solution? I
could only tell them to stop sinning and turn to Jesus with their whole
heart so he can save them in
the day of trouble. Now the Crusades provide the opportunity to get
their heart right with the Lord. They go hand in hand. It may be that
Bunker does not believe in the
gifts of the Spirit. Is Bunker's primary complaint with us over money,
his videos or his book? Or is it really the Crusades? Or is the real
root of the problem the
loving Word of correction from the Lord that Leslie gave you right after
the video in South Bend? It contained some gentile, loving adjustments
from the Lord. Revelation
3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and
repent. Leslie did not make this Word up. There were some things in
the Word she had no knowledge
of. Isn't the real reason you are angry is the Word you refused to
receive? Is it because you did not like some corrections in the Word,
you decided to attack the
messenger?

Now concerning Michael Rood. First of all, even if Rood has some ideas
that are different than others, Bunker is out of order in criticizing
him, just as he is out of

order attacking me. Michael Bunker is rapidly forming for himself the
reputation of being an accuser of the brethren. Rood was one of our
most popular speakers. Still to
this day we have people call and want more information from Rood. I
don't know that every statement from Rood is from the throne room of
God. But then, I don't know that
everything any of our speakers is absolutely correct. Though Bunker
doesn't agree with Michael Rood, there are some things Rood doesn't
agree with Bunker. For that
matter, you don't want to know the complaints we have received about
Bunker. We thought complaints coming into our office about the "once
saved, always saved" doctrine
Bunker was teaching would never stop. We endeavor to keep information
given to our supporters accurate as the agreement with our speakers
states. We say if you can't
prove it, you can't say it. Here is the problem with what Michael
Bunker is doing. He is trying to tear down Bill Deagle and Michael Rood
when that is not his place. He
touts himself as a Bible teacher of doctrine and says he hates religion
"with violence". Wow! Where is the love in violence? God has not
called him to be an accuser of
the brethren, Satan has that distinct designation and he does not need
Bunker's help. I don't know about you, but Satan has done plenty to
accuse me through the years.
Perhaps Bunker should stick to teaching, not tearing down what God
builds up. God is going to cast down the accuser of the brethren, and I
hope Bunker does not get counted
in that number. (Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in
heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God,
and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before
our God day and night.)

Bunker:
The Prophecy Club is now alluding to the Azusa Street revival (as if it
was legitimate), and commenting on how this "revival" also started in
Topeka. I guess we are
supposed to believe that a) God is always changing, but b) he starts all
of his "true" revivals in Topeka, Kansas. The fact that one of the
Kansans who started the Azusa
street "revival" was arrested in Texas a few years later for sodomy,
hasn't changed the widespread charismatic opinion of that freak show.
The Azusa street "revival was
panned by almost every biblically literate teacher of the day. The image
of people barking like dogs, slithering around on the ground like
serpents and laughing like hyenas
have been repeated in other, more current "revivals". Brownwood,
Pensacola and Toronto are the new centers for demonic "revival". It
would be wise that the leaders of these
heretical movements give 1st Corinthians a close read. It specifically
lists the punishment for teachers who defile the Temple.

Stan:
Notice Bunker's fruit. In this paragraph, where is the love? Now he is
attacking the movement that started the spirit-filled churches around
the world. Is Bunker right
and millions of Christians who have received the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit wrong? Or are millions of Spirit-filled Christians right?
Bunker, do you believe in the
Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the nine gifts? Isn't this your real
complaint with Stan, Leslie, The Prophecy Clubr and the Crusades? You
see, I have paid you more than
was agreed upon. So where is the deep anger coming from? The facts are
true. On January 1, 1901 a group of forty some odd students attending
the Bethel Bible College,
then located at 1701 Stone Street in Topeka, Kansas were sent home with
an assignment. They were told to study the scriptures and come back
with the answer to this
question. "What is the initial physical evidence in receiving the
Baptism of the Holy Spirit?" There had been several days of twenty-four
hour prayer. All forty of them
came back with the same answer, it was; speaking in other tongues. One
of the women stepped forward and said, "In the Bible they got the Holy
Spirit by laying on of hands
with prayer." She asked the professor to lay hands on her and pray for
her and boom, she started speaking in tongues and prophesying. The next
one stepped up and boom,
the same thing. One after another they all received the Baptism of
power. From there it went to Azuza Street and around the world. I
think Bunker's big complaint is he
is not spirit-filled, does not speak in tongues, and denys the power of
God. His words may be grieving the Holy Spirit. He does not approve of
what we do in the Crusades
so he throws slanderous words that are always used by those lacking the
power ministries trying to denigrate what God is doing. If God has not
touched Bunker and shown
Bunker the additional light of His marvelous power does not make it
wrong. We should not criticize what we do not understand.

Concerning your comment: "1st Corinthians a close read. It specifically
lists the punishment for teachers who defile the Temple." This is the
only scripture in 1
Corinthians that has the word defile in it. The scripture is discussing
our body being the temple of the Holy Spirit. What are you talking
about here? Are you
misunderstanding this verse? 1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are
the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the
temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Bunker:
Financial Shenanigans

When I signed up for the Prophecy Club, I knew the rules. It was a bit
of a racket, but I knew that broadcasting the message was important. I
did somewhere around 80 cities
in my Prophecy Club tours. At every city, I talked for 3 hours to people
who paid $7 a person to get in. This is legitimate. The money from the
door went to pay for airtime
in each city. I used to be on the radio - I know what radio time costs.

Each Prophecy Club speaker makes his own deal with Stan. I have never
been in this for the money, nor was money an issue with me when I signed
on. However, by all accounts,
the deal I agreed to be skimpy compared to some others that Stan has
agreed to.

I was paid $200 per talk. When it is common for popular public speakers
in this arena to bring anywhere from $1000 to $5000 a talk - I agreed to
the P.C. minimum because I
was not interested at all in the money. I began to be alarmed though,
when I heard the Prophecy
Club m.c.'s taking offerings "in the name of" the speaker. The
impression was given that the money that was taken in the offering was
given to the speaker. This never
happened. I was paid $200 for each talk no matter how much money was
raised during the evening. I always had a problem with this. One day,
when I was in the Topeka office,
Stan showed me a giving report from my hometown of Lubbock, Texas -
where Stan had just spoken on his DANIEL tour. The offering was for
$4500. I know this is not typical,
and I was at the meeting that Stan had here in Lubbock, there weren't
even 100 people in the room. But I was made aware, after m.c.'s told me,
that the offerings at my
talks could bring in anywhere from $2000 to $3000 dollars a night. Keep
in mind that, back on the tape table, there were two of my videos and
one of my books. I was never
paid ONE DIME for any of these tens of thousands of videos, which sold
for $25.00 a piece. I was allowed to PURCHASE the videos for my own
personal sale, at a price of
$6.00 a piece. If that is Stan's cost, then that means that he
personally made over $19.00 a video.

Bunker says, "I was not interested at all in the money." Yet money is
what he is claiming to be complaining about. If Bunker is not
interested in money, why is he
complaining? In the early part of Bunker's letter he is not interested
in money, but isn't this his primary complaint? Bunker exaggerates.
Fortunately for me, I have the
records that can prove what I paid each speaker. I wonder if Bunker
likes the truth. The truth is, once we started with a speaker
agreement, and I have copies of everyone
of them. To keep things done decently and in order, the agreements got
longer and more detailed every time a speaker stepped off the chalk
line. I have copies of every
speaker's agreement. One thing that is consistent with them all is what
was paid. I paid them all the same $200 per talk save two, and I can
prove it. With one speaker I
arranged a percentage split of the table because they had many items I
felt that the people needed, but did not want to inventory the items. I
have the agreements and the
cancelled checks. Well, you ask, then where did Bunker get his
information? Good question. Probably the same place he has gleaned
other information for his books and
videos. I don't know, but I know Bunker's accusations are incorrect.
Which is why I am discontinuing the sale of his books and videos. His
information is no longer
trustworthy in my opinion, and I can now see I have promoted a man that
is prone to put forth inaccurate information. I want to stress I have
no knowledge that any
information he has said on the radio, or in his videos is inaccurate.
But based on his inaccurate accusations of me, I now have reason to
question all of Michael Bunker's
credibility. If I choose to pay one speaker $200 per talk and they
agree to it and the next speaker $500, and yet the next speaker I pay
nothing. If they all agree, what
harm have I caused? Is not this the business of myself and the speaker?
You remember Jesus sent laborers into the field at different times of
the day. At the end of the
day he paid them the same although they worked different hours. When
they complained this was His response. Matthew 20:13 But he answered
one of them, and said, Friend, I
do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take
that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto
thee. 15 Is it not lawful for
me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am
good?" If the speaker agrees to speak for so much, have I done wrong?
If they want more than finances
will allow, I will decline to put them on tour.

Now the offering. I went to great expense to train the emcees on how to
run a The Prophecy Clubr meeting, but they did not always do it the way
I wanted. Not to criticize
them, they were volunteering their time for a well deserving cause. I
was advised by our most popular, most revered speaker (other than Henry
Gruver) that people will give
to the speaker more than they will to The Prophecy Clubr. I tried it
and found it to be correct. So, here Bunker is PARTIALLY correct.
There was a year or two in there
where we took the offering in the name of the speaker as his agreement
mentions. Not that it was all bad, because it did as was mentioned,
indirectly go to the speaker.
In eight years of meetings, we only had one speaker that I can think of
whose offerings paid for their honorarium, airfare, hotels and meals.
That means The Prophecy Clubr
always had to add to the offering to cover all the expenses. You see
that is why we took the offering, and we told the people we were
receiving it for the speaker and his
expenses. We told the people how we were going to use it and we used it
that way. It was taken "for the speaker and his expenses". Many of you
remember those days and
remember that is what we told you. What we were doing was understood by
the speaker, as well as the people we were receiving the offering from.
Nothing wrong, no harm
done. But there was a case where someone misunderstood us to think all
the offering went directly to the speaker, which we tried to explain was
not the case. We changed
that because there were some misunderstandings and those that disagreed
with that method. People sometimes misunderstand. Not wanting to have
any point that people can
accuse me on, and wanting to keep clean hands and a clean heart and not
wanting to even get close to question, I changed it. The offering still
did, and still does go to
cover expenses of the speaker (honorarium, airfare, hotels and meals).
It is all a matter of semantics. The people are still helping the cause
of God. The primary reason
we had monthly meetings was to get the information out. The secondary
reason was to get the money to pay radio airtime. Many stations were
kept on the air by the
meetings. Here is a bigger question. Why would Bunker mention this?
Why is Bunker attacking me on this? Why is he throwing more mud at me?
Where is the love in that?

Now for the $4,500 offering in Lubbock. This is another example of
twisted facts. Once again, I have the records of that night. The facts
are we had 54 people that
night. The table, offering and door were not much. One man came up
and gave me a check for $2,000. He loved our ministry and could see we
were taking it on the chin
financially. Bunker should know this. Bunker was there, he told me he
came because he loved me and wanted to support me. I paid Bunker what I
had agreed to pay him
according to our written agreement. If Bunker did not like what he was
receiving he should have told me. At that point, I would have decided
whether to pay him more or
not invite him to speak again. Now after it has been over a year since
his last speaking tour to complain publicly that he was not treated
fairly, especially since he did
not voice the complaint to me in time to answer his complaint and get it
worked out before he posted them on the internet, is not fair. I can
tell you what my answer would
have been. If Bunker had asked for more money per speaking engagement,
I would have told him I pay all speakers the same (save two), and would
have explained my policy. I
would have answered his questions. If he demanded more money or said he
would not speak, I could have made a decision at that time whether to
invite him to speak again.
We know the expenses of each tour, and what will work and what won't.
As you recall, in those days there was a push to reach the people before
judgment fell. A terrible
burn was in my heart to reach as many as possible. Paying a speaker
lots and lots of money was not the mandate. Getting the message to
God's people was the objective.
Frankly, I felt the money would be better served in buying more radio.
I still feel that $200 for three hours speaking which amounted to $2,800
for two weeks work or
$5,000 a month should be enough for any speaker. I know some speakers
require more than that, some get much, much more than that, but they
don't speak for The Prophecy
Clubr.

Bunker:
WHAT ABOUT MY BOOK?

When Stan first called for me to do a P.C. tour, he told me that he
needed "more information" so that he could offer a BUNKER
SPECIAL. I gave him freely two one-hour videos on Preparedness, that
Stan then offered for sale. I never received one dime for the
thousands of Preparedness videos that were sold. He also asked if I had
ever written a book. At the time, Steve Donaldson (my mentor)
and I were writing the book PERSECUTION 2000: Preparing the Underground
Church. Stan convinced me to allow him to publish the
book. He said that if he published it, he could cover all the
publication costs, and then I could buy it from him at cost. My cost for
the
book would be $1.50 each. Once again, I made the decision that getting
the message out to the people was of primary importance. I
agreed.

I recently spoke to Stan's old publisher. I have to guess, since I do
not have any sales figures, that somewhere between 10,000 and
30,000 books were sold. Stan told me personally one time that P2000 was
one of the best selling books EVER from the Prophecy Club.
I am under the impression that it still is. To this day, Steve Donaldson
and I have received NOT ONE PENNY from the sale and
distribution of P2000, INCLUDING sales to Christian bookstores by the
Prophecy Club.

You might say, "Well, but you agreed to it". You might say that, thought
that would not be totally correct - I had no idea the amount of
money we were dealing with or the questionable ways that would be
employed to raise the money. I did not know that the message was
being prostituted for profit. I always assumed that I would be
recompensed fairly by Christian brothers for my work.

Stan
Yes, Bunker did allow us to duplicate his videos on Preparedness. One
was called Disaster, Preparedness & The One Hour Pack. They were not
professional videos. They were
just homemade. Instead of selling both videos separately, we copied
them both on to one video. But, we gave the video away as part of a
special. We also made both
together on the same video available by itself for - I think $20 - if
anyone wanted just the one video, but very few sold separately. Why did
Bunker do this? In those
days Bunker had a good heart. "He just wanted to bless us." At least
that is what he said. The truth be known, offering his free homemade
video may have been an
enticement for us to put him on tour, and we did. But I really think he
offered it because he was counting himself fortunate to be asked to be
on a nationwide speaking
tour. Not just one, but several tours. When God puts information into
a speaker it creates a burn in them to tell it. It is like molten steel
in their stomach. I know,
because I made two videos also. That speaker has to get it out! Fine,
and we were willing to help. In those days Bunker was not well known
like he is now, since his
tours with The Prophecy Clubr. Bunker appreciated what we were doing
for him and he was willing to help anyway he could. Obviously now,
since reaching the limelight, and
new-found fame he forgets how he wanted to be a blessing. He forgets
what a blessing we were to him.

Let me say something else about Bunkers book, Persecution 2000:
Preparing The Underground Church. How would I know that he was even
writing a book? The answer is he told
me. Once again, Bunker forgets his hunger in those days. He forgets
how he appreciated us helping him get his book to print. He says he
talked to my old publisher. How
did he talk to them? The publisher of his book for the second printing
is under contract with its publisher not to divulge private information,
just like any professional
organization. I can prove how many books were printed, I have the
invoice. I can prove how many we sold to Bunker for cost of printing.
We have the computer records.
With simple subtraction we can see how many books we sold, and it was no
where near the lowest figures Bunker is quoting-it is approximately
1/10th of what he's quoting.
Once again, inaccurate information. Not only that, but when Bunker
purchases his books at cost and then sells them, he is making the very
same, identical profit on his
books as we are. Has he done this with his videos also? If I owe
Bunker money he would furnish proof and I would pay him. The fact is
Bunker can not wait until the sale
is finished, the arrangements have been made and then come back and
change the deal. Can you go back to a car dealer after purchasing a car
from three or even four years
ago and say, "I don't like the price I paid for that car, give me some
of my money back!" If Bunker did not like the deal we were offering he
could have taken his book
elsewhere. Then why did he have us print it? Two reasons. He was
hungry to get the information out, he knew we would treat him fairly has
we had done in the past, he
knew most publishers would not take his book because of content anyway.
The fact is we were a blessing to Bunker. Ask yourself this. After
Bunker did the first tour at
$200 a talk, then why did he do the second tour? Why did he do four
tours? The fact is we treated Bunker very good and now he is mad
because he does not like the
Crusades, the new spiritual direction we have taken and he did not like
the word of correction Leslie gave him.

Bunker:

Like I said, it was never about the money. Or is it.

Back in February or so, I went out on my own with the information that
is now on my third video. After doing a talk in Wichita, someone at that
talk contacted Stan Johnson
and told him that I had some great, new information on the Surveillance
society. Stan called me only days after that meeting, asking me about
the new information. He wanted
me to go out on tour again, or at least shoot a third video for him. I
was not positively inclined to do it. I told him that I had been invited
(me of all people) to speak
to a New Age conference in Denver. He asked me if I had any of the old
videos and books to sell, I told him that I did not. I was out. He said,
" why don't I send you out
some books and videos and you throw them on your table?" I told him that
I had to leave in a few days and that there was no time to get them to
me. He said he would send
them straight to the hotel at his expense. I agreed.
When I got to the hotel, there were about $700 dollars worth of books
and videos there. Of course, the crowd in Denver was not interested in
any of my information. They
were hostile to my message, to say the least.

While I was in Denver, Stan called. He wanted me to do two radio shows
updating my "new" information. He told me not to worry about paying for
the videos and books; I could
send back whatever didn't sell. I told him that I would do the radio
shows since he had sent me the videos. During that radio show he
mentioned that I was going to be
shooting a new video for the P.C. I still had not agreed to do so. Also,
during those interviews, he tried to get me to support what the P.C. was
doing in the Crusades. I
would not do it. Go to the P.C. archives and listen to my two February
updates, you will hear this exchange.

When I returned home, I got a bill for $700 for the videos and books
that I received up in Denver. A couple of days later, Stan called - and
I told him that I didn't have
any money, and that I would have to send the books and videos back. He
told me to hold off, that we would "work it out of what I was going to
receive for doing the new
video." Remember, at this time I had still not agreed to do the video.

A couple of days later, I called Stan back. He was not in the office. I
spoke to one of his close assistants, and I told him that I would do the
video on the following
conditions:

1.I was able to keep the books and videos that I had.
2.I would receive 200 of the new videos once produced.
3.ALL of my expenses involved with getting to and returning from South
Bend, Indiana for the video shoot would be covered.

I never heard back from Stan on this. The next thing I know, I received
the Prophecy Club newsletter announcing the date of my new video shoot
as part of an "intelligence
briefing". I had to assume that my conditions had been met.

A couple of weeks later, Stan called wanting to do radio shows. Remember
that all of these radio shows are done free as part of the "promotion"
for the new video. Before
the interviews, I mentioned again that I had all these videos and we
would need to come to a final agreement on my compensation for the new
video. Stan began to tell me how
"bad things are, financially", and how he was laying people off, etc. He
told me it was costing $1000 to fly me to South Bend!

"No problem", I said. I'll drive to South Bend, and you can give me the
$1000 for expenses.

Stan began to waffle. "Er. . .Uh. . .well, why don't I give you
two-hundred dollars for gas, that way the 'ministry' can save the
money." I was floored. At this point, I
decided to let the Holy Spirit deal with Stan, I was finished. I said,
"Whatever, Stan".

Right before I left for South Bend, I got another call from Stan. He
wanted to do more radio shows. I told him that I was too busy right now.
He said, "well, you will be
getting your NORMAL $200" for the talk in South Bend. Once again, I was
floored. But the newsletter had already gone out, and I was getting
emails from people who were
excited about seeing me up there.

I finally handed it over to the Lord. My wife was livid, and all my
friends were advising me to blow Stan off. "I can't", I said - people
are counting on me.

I drove our motor home up to South Bend. My expenses to get up there and
back were over $800.
When I got to South Bend, Stan asked me to move up my talk several hours
because one of the other speakers had not showed. I wondered why. I
agreed to do it, so I could get
out of town as soon as the taping was over.

Stan started the lead-in to the video. It was more of his Jesus Crusade
stuff. He told us all how "God changed all the time", and asked the
crowd how much money it would be
worth to "get a touch from God". When he finally announced me,
During my talk I made several comments about churchianity, false worship
and manipulative ministries.
Now, Stan and Leslie were livid. With about 50 minutes to go in the
video, Stan was holding up a sign saying GET BACK TO TECHNOLOGY!

Stan: Well, what do I say? Man, you know I really hate this. I hate having
to say all this about another a brother. If there was a way I could get
out of this I would do it.
Once again, look at the spirit behind Bunker's letter. I don't pick up
any of the fruits of the spirit. I only hear attacks, anger,
vindictiveness and jealousy.

Ok. The third video. What happened. I apologize. Bunker should not
have brought this to your attention. You are probably as tired of
reading this as I am of typing it,
but now the truth must be known. I don't remember exactly how the third
video came up. Whether he called me or I called him. I do remember
that he called and was going
to order some of his books and videos to speak at a New Age conference.
He was not going to take very many because he didn't have the money to
buy them. At this time I
had not picked up that Bunker was angry with me. At this point I don't
think he was. I don't think that came until later, after more of the
Crusades were going. I
offered to send more books and videos with him to the meeting. I told
him you can't sell out of an empty cart and you can return what you
don't sell, and pay us out of
your sales. If someone had offered me that deal I would have been
appreciative. I would have thanked them. The day we sent them out was
February 5,2001. We sent it UPS,
second day air, and we paid the air freight bill. It was on May 19th he
spoke in South Bend. So three months went by and Bunker had not paid
us. We were expecting a
check for that inventory which sold within a week and inventory returned
that did not sell. We sent a bill, but no check came. Other speakers
have not paid us too timely
so we normally ask for payment at the time of shipping. I made an
exception and this is what I get for my kindness. Bunker attempts to
paint a picture of this giant
ministry with buckets of money that won't share any of it with him. If
I told you how far in the hole we are financially from trying to be a
blessing it would shock you
and be embarrassing to you. It was about this time we agreed to make a
third video, and yes, Bunker did agree to it. Sharon, our person who
handles scheduling for
speakers, called him to confirm it before the newsletter went out. She
also called him about getting a flight for him, which is how the travel
thing came up. Bunker
didn't have the money to pay the $750 for the videos, (Maybe he sold
them, I don't know.) I told him not to worry about paying it
immediately, we could settle up at the
video taping. I would owe him $200 for speaking and my plan was to hold
it out of his honorarium in South Bend. We talked about transportation
to the South Bend meeting.
Bunker said he had to go up that way to do some other speeches anyway.
I told him I would pay him whatever the normal airfare would be or his
travel expenses, whichever is
less. The lowest cost to fly from Lubbock to South Bend, IN is about
$300 depending upon when you leave. Bunker owed us $750 that he could
not pay, so I was going to
propose that we call it even. We owed him $300 for travel, and $200 for
speaking, we paid for a hotel room that night.. We owed him $500 and I
thought he would think it a
generous deal to wipe out a $750 debt for three hours speaking. Just
call it even.

We took him to the meeting, but could not find him after the meeting.
After the meeting Bunker disappeared. I was going to tell him I was
going to call it even, but could
never find him. I even went to his room we paid for him to sleep in and
found his buddy in the room instead. His buddy said Bunker was sleeping
in a motor home located in
the parking lot. I went to the motor home but all the lights were out.
I thought I would catch him in the morning, but he was gone. I was not
worried, because I figured
he would contact me about travelling expenses and honorarium I owed him,
but no contact. I also thought if Bunker needed the money, I would be
willing to go ahead and pay
him the $500 now and worry about him repaying the $750 later. If he
voiced a need I may have just forgave the $750 debt. Contrary to the
tightwad picture Bunker paints of
me, I am a generous person as the Lord leads. Just in the last few days
I have donated $1,000 to one person and $575 to another. But I felt the
Lord direct me to make
those donations. I don't just throw money around. Our supporters and
the Lord expect me to be a good steward of His finances. But I could
never reach Bunker after the
meeting or in months following. Between Sharon and myself, we must have
called his home 30 times. I did not know he was upset with me. When I
did talk with him he told
me he was having phone trouble. He never told me he was dissatisfied in
any way, until 24 hours before he published his complaints on the
internet, not giving us time to
work this out.
Bunker said, "I had had enough RELIGION to last a lifetime." How can
Bunker criticize The Power of Jesus Crusades as "Religion" when he has
not even attended one? Does
Bunker love Jesus?

Talking about Religion; James 1:26 says, "If any man among you seem to
be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart,
this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To
visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself
unspotted from the world."
Now that definition of religion does not sound bad to me.

Bunker:
I am at war with religion and the institutional church system. I
advocate insurrection and violence against tyrants.

Stan: If I had known this was Bunker's attitude toward God's people and what
God is doing he would never have been invited to speak. The Church is
not a building but God's
people. God is not going to do His work outside the Church, but within
it. If Bunker is not in God's Church, which side is he on? What is
Bunker going to do with John
13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as
I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Does Bunker love you?
Jesus said he is to love
you.

One final comment on this series of paragraphs. Bunker said he had a
meeting in Wichita. Bunker lives in Lubbock. I wonder how a man in
Lubbock was invited to Wichita?
Do you suppose it was due to the influence of The Prophecy Clubr? I am happy to see speakers expand their ministry as a result of The Prophecy Clubr. It is one of the delights I get from this ministry. Now if I were to take the "Bunker
attitude", I would be saying something along the lines of, "Hey Bunker,
were those PC people at that
Wichita meeting you presented? If so, are you going to send me an
offering out of that meeting? You made some money on my account, I
expect you to give me some of it."
Which would be absurd. I would not consider doing such a thing. But,
this is similar to what Bunker is doing with me. "Hey Stan, you sold
those books and videos just
like I said you could, how about sending me a donation even though we
never agreed you would?"

Bunker:
Apparently I am expected to work for free, AND let Stan Johnson edit my
comments.
When the video was over, my associates and I bugged out of there. Back
at the hotel, we fumed over the garbage that we had experienced. I went
to go read the bible and
study by the pool. Right after I left, Stan called the room. Leslie had
had a "vision" from God for me. Jordan went and got it, and we read it.
It was 6 pages of
self-serving claptrap with God's name on it. The "thus saith the Lord's"
were all for the P.C.'s sake.

1.I was to shut up about the church, quit attacking religion.
2.I was to get under authority (presumably under the "apostle" Stan).

I had a long talk with Ben and Jordan that night. Jordan is my student,
and he has been living and travelling with me for 5 months. I thought
this was the most valuable
lesson on manipulation and religiosity that anyone could ever receive.
But there was more to learn.

I told Jordan, "Do you want to look this thing in the eye, so you'll
always recognize it, and you'll always know what manipulation looks
like?"

"Yes", he said.

I said, "OK, I am going to send you on a mission. I want you to go to
Stan Johnson's room RIGHT NOW (It was about 11pm). I want you to ask for
a "personal prophecy", and I
am going to tell you what he is going to say." I smiled, "Stan is going
to tell you that you are getting false teaching, and that you should
come learn from him, or that
you should go 'get a touch from God' at a Jesus Crusade. Now go."

Jordan went and knocked on Stan's door. Stan took him upstairs at the
Signature Inn where they had a small meeting area.

Stan told Jordan that he was a "white car, pure and clean", but that he
had been "splattered with dirt" - the dirt was "bad teaching". Stan told
him that he should "go to a
Jesus Crusade" and learn the NEW worship and praise style. More
manipulative churchianity. What a great lesson! What a great "personal
prophecy".

I never received one dime for my third video with Stan Johnson and the
Prophecy Club. Not one dime. My expenses were not covered, and I never
received $200 for my
honorarium.

By the way, from the pulpit up in South bend, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND
MY ASSOCIATES, Stan Johnson told the crowd that he was receiving
"thousand dollar checks daily and
ten-thousand dollar checks every week". I and my family still live in
poverty for the sake of the gospel. Ain't it all grand?

About three weeks after I got home, I received a bill from the Prophecy
Club asking me for $700 for the old books and tapes. So I after doing a
THIRD VIDEO which will sell
thousands of copies for Stan Johnson at $25 a piece, I received nothing
but a bill for $700. I owed HIM money.

When I wrote my recent article entitled SPIRITISM AND THE PROPHECY
MOVEMENT. I got an email from Stan Johnson entitled, "Let's be Friends".
The email basically told me to
shut up and don't talk about the Prophecy Club. He listed all the
"kindnesses" that he had extended to me. Really. I couldn't make this
stuff up. I wrote Stan back and told
him all my grievances and asked him to reply to them. He did not. On
Saturday, I wrote him another email telling him that I was writing this
article, and that if he wanted
to defend himself, I would include his comments here. He wrote back and
told me that he "had never received my email with grievances", and
could I resend it. I did so. The Saturday email had specifically stated
that I would be finishing this article on Monday. Stan was stalling for
time.

I don't know have any idea how Stan Johnson has responded to my
grievances. I have not heard back from him. Maybe he thought that I
would just "go away". On his website,
under the archives, he still has a Jesus Crusade audio under my name and
heading. He is still leading people to believe that I support what he
is doing. I do not.

Let's lay this all out.

Stan Johnson owes me money, a lot of money. Not by contract, but
because it is the right thing to do. I will not sue him, pester him, or
ask him for the money. It is not
about the money. It is about right and wrong. I have fulfilled all my
obligations to the Prophecy Club.
I have made Stan Johnson's offences known to Stan Johnson. Now, I bring
this concern to the brethren. Not because I desire that Stan Johnson
suffer, but because it is the
right thing to do. People are being hurt by Stan and his ministry. He
is wrong, and he needs to know that. Everything I have done has been
above board. I have defrauded
no man. I will allow myself to be defrauded, because I will not use
Caesars courts to make a point.

Stan:
I think the rift began with the meeting in South Bend. I may be wrong,
but based on what I picked up, I don't think Bunker liked our Crusades,
and he did not like me
telling him to get back on the agreed upon topic. Bunker complains
about past speakers and what they have said. He infers I should watch
more closely the information I
allow to pass through The Prophecy Clubr and I agree, and I will. How
would I watch what information passes through the ministry? Think about
it, how? Why, I would have
to edit the speakers. I would have to tell them what they could and
could not say, right? Is that what you want? Do you want your speakers
censored? I don't want to
censor much but from time to time that is what must be done. I have
tried the open microphone policy and you hear the criticism I get for
it. So if I am supposed to
censor a speaker, does that include Michael Bunker? Was I correct in
asking him to "GET BACK TO TECHNOLOGY?" What was the topic? What was
the title of the video? How
You Lost Your Privacy is what the people paid $7 to hear so that is what
they want. In times past when a speaker got off track I received
complaints. I was just getting
Bunker back on track. The truth is, Bunker has come to love speaking,
perhaps too much. He has come to lift himself up perhaps too high, so
high Bunker thought he could
talk on anything. The title of his video was not What is Wrong With the
American Church but that is what it was turning into. I did not
appreciate the change. Like I did
not appreciate other speakers changing the subject and getting into
areas that brought much hurt to this ministry. The very thing Bunker
says I should do, censor speakers,
he did not want put upon himself. What do you call that? What do you
call it when a person wants one standard applied to others and another
standard applied to
themselves?

Now concerning his comment on me being "livid." During a taping I sit
next to the producer in another room. This producer will most certainly
remember that neither Leslie
nor myself were "livid". In television, the camera men hold up signs
all the time. Some to signal time. My telling Bunker to get back on
the subject was not done in
anger. It never even occurred to me to be angry. How would Bunker know
if I was angry or not, since I spent the entire time in the control room
which was in another room
100 feet away? I only came out to make the sign and then returned to
the control room.

Here is what I DO demand. I demand that the Prophecy Club cease using
my name or my information. I cannot stop Stan from selling the videos,
but he book is under my
copyright - and I demand that he stop selling it. I also ask that Stan
Johnson publicly state, on his radio show, that I in no way support the
Jesus Crusades, or the
current direction of the Prophecy Club. If he does not do that, I will
make a point of publishing (at some future date) all the heresy and blasphemy that these Crusades
employ. I would rather that we just make a clean break.

Stan:
Bunker can not claim I owe him, but rather that he owes me.
Fortunately, I have the paperwork to prove it.
Bunker can not tell me to stop selling his videos, The Prophecy Clubr
owns the copyright. But now that I see Bunker is inaccurate in his
statements to me, makes me think
he may have been inaccurate on his videos. I don't want to take that
chance. I don't want to be offering anyone any information I deem
inaccurate. We don't need to sell
any of Bunker's information. Just as we did not need to put Bunker on
tour. We were trying to inform God's people. Bunker does own a
co-copyright on Persecution 2000:
Preparing the Underground Church, I do not have an agreement in writing
on it, but rest assured all future authors will be required to have one.
Christians should be
people of their word. To stop selling Bunker's book would be contrary
to our agreement. As you recall we would help him print it, we would
front the money and store it
for him. He could buy it from us at our actual cost, but we could also
sell it and obtain it at our actual cost. Our reward is investing our
time and money - his is
getting it at cost without spending any money or time editing it. Now
Bunker again, wants to change the deal after the deal is done. Bunker
wants us to stop selling his
book through TThe Prophecy Clubr, and we have. However, he should buy
our remaining stock of his book so as not to leave The Prophecy Clubr
further damaged by Bunker, or
is that the point of this attack? Whatever happened to that burn to
tell the people? Was this information God gave him? If so, freely
receive, freely give. Bunker
should want God's information out. Now, if it is Bunker's information,
then I could understand why he would not want it sold.

In reference to Bunker's demands. I refuse each demand. No one,
including Bunker, is going to tell me what to put on The Prophecy Clubr
radio program. Is Bunker now
using extortion and threats to try to build his ministry? How much
evidence do we need to know the fruit of his spirit? If I were to
mention the name Bunker again on the
The Prophecy Clubr radio program, I would tell the whole story and, of
course, by now Bunker probably does not want that to happen. I do
appreciate Bunker for putting my
response in its entirety on his website. If I did put it on the air, it
would break my long-standing policy. I don't criticize other
ministries. God is capable of doing
that himself. Even in answering Bunker's accusations, I have been
uncomfortably close to breaking my own policy. Like always, I will take
the high road and not criticize,
condemn or complain. I will hope it does not escalate to some point
where I must explain what Bunker has done on radio. It would hurt
Bunker, The Prophecy Clubr, and
worst of all, the name of Jesus. If Bunker attacks The Power of Jesus
Crusades or The Prophecy Clubr I would suggest he be very careful not to
grieve the Holy Spirit.
Especially don't blaspheme the Holy Spirit. The Crusades are called by
God to bring change to God's church. The Prophecy Clubr is called to
inform and warn the Church of
evil and judgment coming. I certainly hope Bunker doesn't think the
best way to build his ministry is on the necks of other dead ministries
he has killed. Where does that
spirit come from? John 16:2 ...yea, the time cometh, that whosoever
killeth you will think that he doeth God service. I hope Bunker isn't
trying to kill God's ministries
and do God a service.

Bunker:
I ask for your prayers and supplications for Stan Johnson, the Prophecy
Club and their employees. I ask you to pray that the Lord bless them,
that He open their eyes, and
that they turn from this way to which they have strayed. I also ask you
to contact the P.C. let them know what you think about this issue. They
are a public ministry,
tied to a 501c-3 tax free foundation, and you have the right to be
heard. I ask that you forward this to other speakers, to friends and
interested parties, and Christian
media outlets. I do not have a worldwide radio show from which to be
heard.

I also ask for your prayers for me, my family and my associates. We are
nobodies with no budget and no media voice. We cannot harm anybody.
But we can suffer attacks,
like we always do. I am certain that this issue will engender such
attacks.

I continue to be your servant in Christ Jesus,

Michael Bunker

Stan:
Well, Bunker. Man, I hate doing this. I just wish it didn't have to
happen this way. I wish you had voiced your concerns to me before
taking this public. It doesn't
look good for you, me or Jesus. Christians should never, never, never
squabble in public. This is really a private matter. I wish I did not
have to say what I am about
to have to say. But, wrong again. The Prophecy Clubr is not a 501 (c)
3. It is a sole proprietorship. A business. It is not officially a
public ministry as you say.
The people who sow into this ministry do have a voice because I choose
to listen. I even choose to listen to those who have never supported
it. But I do so, not because I
am commanded to by law, I do so because I love the Lord and I love His
sheep. The Spirit of Prophecy Church pays its airtime through donations
from those who love it.
Donations made to The Prophecy Clubr are NOT deductible as I have stated
on the air numerous times, donations to the The Spirit of Prophecy
Church ARE deductible because
they go to a tax-exempt church. The Spirit of Prophecy Church is NOT a
501 (c) 3 either, it is a church. In some countries the church reported
to the state, and in some
countries the state reported to the church. In this country they are
equal. Neither reports to the other. Neither pays taxes to the other.
You see some of Bunker's
research is not accurate.
To all the people that Bunker involved in this, I apologize. Bunker may
feel he has been hurt, as now we feel we have been hurt. Bunker feels
TPC hurt him, but let me
briefly mention TPC has been hurt by many speakers, we just turned the
other cheek and kept it to ourselves.

We had one speaker steal $12,000 dollars from us. We turned the other
cheek and God made it right. We had another speaker threaten to quite
the tour and go home unless we
gave him more money. We have had speakers refuse to stay in the hotel
and demand to go to the nice expensive ones on the hill in every city.
We have had speakers smile
and give a good talk when I was in the room, then go out and say some of
the most stupid, idiotic things, sometimes just being a knucklehead! We
have had speakers schedule
visits to mom or family on our nickel. We have been stabbed in the back
by speakers that told us they loved us. But we keep it to ourselves.
We don't make the name of
Jesus look bad in the eyes of the world. We don't believe in letting
the world see Christians fighting. Even if everything Bunker said was
true, what made it wrong was
going public. All people make mistakes, but the average person that
dislikes Jesus, Christians, and the Church just laughs at us Christians
when they see us fighting
publicly like this. They say, these Christians act like this and they
want me to become one, who do they think I am? I apologize for ever
introducing Michael Bunker to
you and will endeavor to not let sloppy Christianity like this hurt the
name of Jesus again.

Yours In Christ,

Stan Johnson
